Why we made this
There's a distance between what iPhone zoom can do and what photographers actually need. Digital zoom closed the gap on paper. Optically, it never quite got there. We wanted glass that pulled distant subjects in with the same clarity, compression, and depth you'd expect from a dedicated camera. The 96mm is that glass. Up to 32x total reach, built for the iPhone already in your pocket.

Yes. The SANDMARC app is designed specifically for our lenses and is free to download. Get it here: SANDMARC Camera App.
No. The 96mm adds true optical magnification on top of Apple’s tetraprism lens, which preserves detail and compression better than digital cropping.
No. It is designed exclusively for the telephoto tetraprism camera and will not work on the 1x main camera.
It is compatible with models: iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
At 24MP the 32x still retains strong detail, but maximum resolution and clarity are achieved at 48MP and 16x.
Autofocus works normally when using the SANDMARC App. Stability becomes more important at higher magnification.
Not required, but recommended for maximum sharpness at longer distances, especially in lower light.
