01

Personal Information We Collect

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.sandmarc.com (the "Site").

Automatic Device Data

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect information including your IP address, cookie identifiers, mobile advertising identifiers, browser type, operating system, ISP, visit timestamps, time on pages, links clicked, and pages viewed. If your device transmits location data via GPS, Bluetooth, or WiFi, we may also collect this.

We collect Device Information using:

  • Cookies — data files placed on your device, often including an anonymous unique identifier. Visit allaboutcookies.org to learn more or opt out.
  • Log Files — track actions on the Site, including your IP address, browser type, ISP, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • Web Beacons, Tags & Pixels — electronic files used to record how you browse the Site.
  • Microsoft Clarity & Advertising — behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replays to improve and market our products. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement for details.

Order Information

When you make a purchase, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, payment information, email, and phone number. Note: we do not store credit or debit card numbers.

Information You Provide Directly

When registering, contacting support, completing surveys, posting reviews, or entering giveaways, you may provide additional personal details such as your email address, mailing address, or phone number.

Information from Third Parties

We may receive supplemental information about you from third-party services (e.g., Facebook, Twitter) when you use them to log in or share content related to SANDMARC.

02

How We Use Your Information

We use Order Information to fulfill purchases — processing payments, arranging shipping, and sending invoices and order confirmations. We also use it to:

  • Communicate with you about your orders and account
  • Screen orders for potential risk or fraud
  • Provide you with information or advertising about our products and services, in line with your stated preferences

We use Device Information to help screen for potential risk and fraud, and to improve and optimize the Site — for example, generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing campaigns.

03

Behavioral Advertising

SANDMARC may allow third-party advertising partners to set tracking tools (e.g., cookies) to collect information about your activities, such as your IP address and pages visited. We may also share de-identified and selected personal information with these partners to enable interest-based advertising across non-SANDMARC websites.

You can opt out of targeted advertising through the following platforms:

You can also opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out portal. For more on how targeted advertising works, visit the NAI educational page.

04

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your personal information with select third parties to power our services:

  • Shopify — powers our online store. See Shopify's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics — helps us understand how customers use the Site. See Google's Privacy Policy or opt out here.
  • Legal Compliance — we may share information to comply with applicable laws, respond to a subpoena or lawful request, or to protect our rights.
05

Do Not Track

Please note that we do not alter our Site's data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

06

Your Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you, and to request that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. To exercise this right, please contact us using the details below.

We process your information to fulfill contracts (e.g., your orders) and to pursue our legitimate business interests. Your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

07

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it.

08

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

09

Sale of Personal Information

We continue to evaluate our third-party relationships and will update our practices as regulatory guidance clarifies what constitutes a sale, particularly in the advertising ecosystem.
