Had the incredible opportunity to get to Bora Bora and my obsession with the color of the water there drove me to figure out how to ensure I capture it as best I can. The polarized lens for my iPhone does the job admirably though it doesn’t fit over all three lenses of the 13 pro max. Still, I got my color!
I use this to photograph paintings, which are very susceptible to surface glare. It works great, eliminating the glare and improving color fidelity. My only wish would be that the clip attaching the filter to the camera were a little less bulky. Maybe having clips that are individualized for specific camera models would allow them to be less obtrusive.
Awesome quality on both pieces I ordered. I got this filter with the anamorphic. I used it to make a video tour for a work project and it really upped the video quality. All these pieces do make the phone a bit heavy on one side. I would suggest ordering counter weights if you’re shooting on gimbals. Thanks Sandmarc
I pair this with my wide lens when on a hike for great landscape photos with partly cloudy skies and those waterfalls and photos come out lovely!
This filter significant stepped up the quality of my portfolio photos. I am a tattoo artist, not a photographer, but I had to learn to take better photos of my work bc IG revolutionized how tattoo artists and tattoo lovers connect. We should talk more about how polarizing filters also reduce the glare and bad lighting conditions INDOORS too. All the tattoo artists I know shoot the completed project with our phones. Some of us have really awful pics but really great work. Now the photos of my tattoo work look as good as the tattoos do in real life. The color is accurate, the highlights are visible, the tattoos don’t look washed out in fluorescent lighting anymore. The bi-color lights helps tremendously too. The polarizer filter is a tattoo game changer. Go scroll through my IG (@zackross79) and you can easily see when I purchased the filter and started using it. Wish I would have had it years ago.
