Purchased these as a set during Black Friday and saved quite a lot compared as if you only bought each lens individually. Each lens comes with a case so you’ll get four cases so they will last you for quite awhile! I come from a background of using a DSLR and after getting the iPhone 11 Pro Max I saw a review on these and decided to give them a try. I am glad that I did as they are just as good in the craftsmanship as DSLR lenses. The case comes with two areas where you can attach the lenses but mostly it is recommended to mostly use the top main camera as it has the best aperture and sensor. You could use the Telephoto on the iPhone telephoto lens to give you 4X close up instead of using digital zoom and will get cleaner results for example. I am also experimenting using the macro lens on the telephoto as well. Something that has been fun so far has been using the fisheye lens! It’s amazing how much you can get in the photo and can get some funny images of my pets! I included some examples. But with the fisheye you need to be extra careful as the glass is exposed as a dome and could become damaged If dropped. Something that will take some getting used to is how you need to be a lot more careful and mindful when handling your smartphone as it becomes really top heavy and the case is of a soft touch material that’s a little slippery. But it’s a good feel. About the only thing I was not expecting is that it takes more time than I was initially thinking to attach the lenses. You need to be really careful as the thread sometimes do not want to go straight and you need to back out and start again sometimes more than I was wanting it to. Be very careful to not cross thread. Do not force it. So far very happy I bought these! One more thing! The case fits very nicely on the Moza Mini Mi gimbal and by using some affordable counterweights, this gimbal can handle the weight of my iPhone 11 Pro Max and the lenses with no issues.
I can’t really review the product yet, because my wife has to wrap it and put it under the tree. I’ll know for sure on the 25th of this month. From what I have seen and read, I have great expectations - this is an elegantly designed (and apparently exceptionally well produced) line of lenses, and the anticipation is killing me. I’ll update this review on the 26th...
Very good. Impresive.
These four lens that I can hold in the palm of my hand has probably replaced a huge camera and bag.
